The point of the ether was that it would provide a preferred reference frame you fucking retard. The QFT vacuum (and dark energy although that one is more complicated) are Lorentz invariant. They don't have a preferred reference frame.
Basically, we have to kill all pop-sci "journalists" and people that consume it.

let me know when a computer is done modeling all of their virtual oscillators and they find out it doesn't look like they expected it to. pic rel should be impossible to quantum fags, yet its real and we actually can indeed find the position of electrons among many other things.
