in the same situation kinda.thankfully I finished my exams relatively ok.but I dread starting the next semester in a few weeks. it's a truly miserable, soul-crushing routine. I just hope it gets better once I am done with the basics? I am just starting, anyone further into their degrees had the same experience and did it change at some point?

It becomes more enjoyable when you intuitively know whats going on. Then everything can be done with little effort and classes and reading become very fun. Just try your best to build some imaginary model of whatever youre working with (ex linear algebra as different dimensional spaces, real analysis sequences as an infinite strings of dots with different heights). What seems most useful to develop these intuitions fast is developing intuitions for different abstract algebras, which frequently reappear and you will then have an immediate sense for.

I barely passed the majority of my classes until I arrived at differential geometry, topology and differential equations where equations have actual meaning and you don't feel like a robot solving problems for no reason

Try studying, if you bombed an exam its because you literally aren't paying attention in class. Also, you can change your routine, why not quit and be a full time student? oh because you actually don't care about school at all? then why go?
