Anyone know if this is safe? Just to get through the night?

My mom has a wicked ear infection and it's all we've got. My brother has my car for the night and he's been drinking so I can't go get her anything. She's so miserable and delirious I don't know what to do.. anyone know medical shit?
Tried figuring it out myself but I just keep getting shit about ear drops. I just did a warm towel on the side of her head and massaged around there a bit, and she bad some OTC pain relievers. Anything else I can do?
