a + b = 5

The first two equations give
b = 5 - a
c = a - 1.3
so we can eliminate two variables already.
(5 - a)d = 21
(a - 1.3)d = 16

(5 - a)16 = (a - 1.3)21

a = 2.9
b = 2.1
c = 1.6
d = 10
