all you need to turn a turbine is something that has enough power to spin the turbine to create electricity. It doesnt matter what spins the magnets. If you can have water doing so be it. how do you think hydroelectric dams work?

Alright OP. I've watched the whole thing more carefully now. There's no fakery, there's no bullshit, the only problem it is NOT a pump. The video is poorly titled, its just a big siphon. He's moving water from a ditch to a LOWER elevation via a siphon he's built, and this video is an instructional on how to do the same.
Unless I am getting fooled, the elevation of the outlet is in fact lower than the level of the ditch. He isn't outright claiming otherwise.
