it's the opposite imo, people who freak out over eugenics are usually brainlets who get all their opinions from people like John Oliver, and completely ignore that we could all but eradicate certain diseases by applying the same techniques to humans that we apply to every other domestic species

They wouldn't regulate this in the US. We have too much of a loud religious presence that would fight it tooth and nail. Hopefully these people fighting so hard for surgical alterations and hormonal contraceptives will hurry up and die from an STD medly.

There's a much easier solution. Disallow child support, extra money per child on welfare and divorce settlements related to child custody.

That would deincentivize women from keeping unwanted a children to term since at they point they could no longer use them for financial gain.
