Recently took a MENSA online IQ test, first couple questions were decent then it go to shit where I had to use my mind to visualize reflections and shit and I can't do that so I randomly picked answers. End result 97 IQ.

What would you do in my situation? My parents expect me to do STEM I just feel I don't have the intellect to do so.

To "do well" in stem is just a matter of hard work. (If by "doing well" you mean making a difference while making money). Being gifted doesn't hurt but a lot of science is just a lot of legwork. I'd rather hire a hard worker that gets shit done than some wannabe genius that can't care about producing useable data.

What do you do? You do something that requires craft and expertise as opposed to talent, intelligent creativity, and adaptability. That can be parts of engineering, e.g. surveyor type work, civil engineering, aspects of mechanical engineering. It can be base-line coding. Honestly, it can be carpentry, joining, plumbing - all of which pay well if you're good.

So be realistic and work hard. No free pass from your genetics sadly.

IQ is fluid, especially if you're under 25. If you want to improve it start learning mathematics seriously. Learn the real deal, algebra, analysis, measure theory, functional analysis, axiomatic set theory. You will get smarter.
