From life at the moment, I spend out $70 AUD for 35 litres of petrol which lasts a week. The average lifespan of a car is 8 years so $70 x 416 weeks = $29, 120.
Based on that, the cheapest option is nuclear (not accounting for the cost changes towards cars to accommodate such a fuel source). The problem with nuclear is you only have to refuel every couple billion years, meaning businesses get less money and either make it shit to sell it more regularly or won't sell it/campaign against it so you have to keep buying the more expensive petroleum until it runs out and we have nothing left.
