>>14283675correct answer is 24.
and it's known americans dumb the fuck out of math for their retarded kids, "NoBoDy LeFT bEHinD"
>>14284111it's not ambiguous because, if you get anything but 24, it's not a right-angle triangle due
>>14284162I'm willing to bet you're just carrying on with OP's baiting. but,
there is no right-angled triangle with 10 as the hypotenuse and 6 inches of "height' perpendicular to the hypotenuse.
the biggest angle you can get out of such characteristics is tangent inverse of (10/2)/6 = 80 degrees
if then, the right angle is the one formed with the side of length 6 and the "hypotenuse" of length 10, then the side of length 10 is not the fucking hypotenuse. the hypotenuse is not adjacent to the right angle.
if in this contradiction of a retarded muttmerican problem we want consistency, we drop the hypotenuse hypothesis to get 30 as the are.
or, we keep that 10 is the hypotenuse, but then 6 is not the "height", it is just one of the sides adjacent to the right angle. the other one is of length 8 by pytagoras thus the area is 24
