There is a global conspiracy by the Consumerist-Progressive complex to institute a regime of escapism that eventually culminates into the literal Matrix so that they can achieve permanent pacification of their subjects, as these subjects are no longer a part of empirical reality and cannot react anymore. Opium wars on a mass cultural scale.
This is the purpose of postmodernism. Of Critical Race Theory. Of trannies and the ability to pick your subjective perception of yourself. It is the subversion of your desire as a living being to live in the empirical and in the now, and through a cultural coup of your consciousness, its replacement with the desire - the opium - to retreat into the subjective and delusional. It is a cultural legalization of delusions. Every "normative social construct", as they call them, that they deconstruct, is done so with the sole intent of legalizing the delusion that it attempted to prevent so far.
It doesn't stop with philosophy either. Math has been a victim of this for centuries in fact. The golden age of math and science began when it defiantly opposed the anti-empirical church and caused a boom in technological development. But quickly the rationalist elements of it adapted and reverted math to its purely rationalist and anti-empirical state. That was around the creation of set theory and everything attached to it. Fun fact, they used to call it "jewish math" even before Hitler came to power. And as expected, set theory and its axioms are all about destroying the empirical rules and unstifling math to the infinities of possibilities no matter how delusional and inapplicable these new sets and algebras are.
I believe that this is being done consciously, in both the intellectual and scientific cases, so as to destroy the so-called "eurocentric" appreciation for objective reality.
