Primary colors aren't real. Any three colors in CIEXYZ that encompass the white point can be used as primary colors, just mixed in different amounts. Yes this is an oversimplification.

Primary is arbitrary, you fucking retard. Green is a primary for computer screens RGB. Yellow cyan and magenta are also primary in another layout. Green is included with those colors for aesthetics for children or whatever.
