Carbonated drinks are made by dissolving carbonic acid in water.
The carbonic acid will react with the water and decompose into water and carbon dioxide.

As the amount of co2 in the atmosphere increases, wouldn't it also be dissilved into the ocean?

I, for one , will INCREASE my emissions so as to maximise the amount if co2 in the oceans.

Some people just want to see the fizzy oceans.
