I'm losing interest in taking a hold of the subjects I'm learning in school. I'm getting a math degree and last semester was fucking hard but great. I got a rigorous intro to basic math topics and I felt like I was accomplishing something.

This semester I'm taking group theory, cryptography and machine learning. I am bored to tears. Who the fuck cares about groups? It's abstract for no damn reason. Cryptography is lame, not really mathematical at all, just mess with inputs of algos and see if you can crack something. The machine learning isn't bad but the topics get way deeper in the swamps of math jargon to explain somewhat simple notions. And fuck it, just realized I missed an assignment due in an R programming class tonight.
