Midterms
Four tests will be given. These are paper tests. A make-up exam is given only if you have a very
serious reason and only when the arrangement is made in advance. If you are unable to take an
exam for a very serious reason, you must contact me immediately. The final exam will replace the
missed midterm. If you do not contact me within 24 hours, you will receive ZERO for the exam.
No exam score is dropped; however, your highest exam score will be doubled.

I got a 73 on the first mid-term, does this mean that the quoted part of the syllabus absolves this grade to an A?
