The shadow is not the shadow of the Earth on the moon. The perspective of the viewer here is in the line of sight of the part of the moon not being lit by the Sun. Yes, it does make sense with the globe model. The red line here is the viewer although a dot would obviously also suffice considering the height of the person is virtually irrelevant.

Honestly wish people would explain things faster here to shut this shit down. Otherwise just gives credence to the flat Earthers.
