I take 2 drops of Lugol's iodine (some solution of potassium iodide) daily in a stainless steel cup of water. This morning I did the same, except I left the water+iodine mix out for an hour or so before drinking it, and when I did the water tasted a little bit bitter but I thought nothing of it until I drank it all (lmao). Looked it up and apparently iodine solutions can erode stainless steel and I might've just drank the corrosion material. Am I screwed, and do I need to make myself throw up?
