What can someone with an IQ of ~140 reasonably expect to achieve when pursuing math, or some other stem field for that matter? I've breezed through my lower-division math courses and thought about switching over to math, but this has been looming over me for sometime. Being doomed to the fate of some second-rate mathematician doesn't entirely turn me off, but I have to wonder to what extent can I even contribute to the field? And I'm also curious to how that scenario would change if I was someone who interested to a hyper-autistic extent.
