Flat earthers dont trust authority, they dont trust pictures of earth from space, so they obviously wont trust some tale from thousands of years ago that you also cant verify. I mean you could repeat the experiment, but not verify it was done back then or that erasthotenes existed.
And even doing the experiment is not evidence enough because "alternative explanations"
Flat earthers are just turbo skeptics, its good they exist
