There will be predictable weather patterns. Water will boil off on the light side and begin to fall on the edge of dark. I think there will be a continuous, major, water transfer over the surface.
Between the scorching heat, huge floods, and deep freezes, I think the general surface of the earth will be obliterated. Mountains will erode and collapse rapidly, distribution of landmass will be a bit flatter
I'd guess the bottoms of the oceans would still be cold, somewhat constantly
