If human males could be haploid like bee drones, we could have an eusocial society. Eusociality is the highest form of social order with most labour division and organisation, and all eusocial animals are highly successful and dominant in their niches.
Having haploid males would ensure that siblings are 75% related as opposed to the usual 50%. This would stop worker humans from breeding and instead invest everything into the queen to produce more sisters through her.
Just like it's not efficient for everyone to grow their own food and we leave that to professionals, having a professional breeding caste would free up time for intellectual pursuits.
Unfortunately, there aren't any haploid mammals like there are insects. Is there a particular reason for this?
