Is there a way to fix near sightedness whithout glasses, eye surgery or contactleses? Can you become near sighted because of malnutrition, and fix it by taking enough vitamins?

On /fit/ there were some threads on lifting for your eye muscles. Eye muscles can actually compensate for defects in the eye itself. That's why kids can sometimes have a +4 or whatever and not be bothered by it while adults would have glasses for the same.

yes. if nearsighted, take 30mins each day reading something spaced just far away enough that you start to lose focus, the edges on the text aren't quite crisp. if farsighted, something just close enough that it starts to become difficult. over years you can reduce or eliminate your prescription

When I was a teen and started having near sightedness, I was doing some weird shit where I was wearing far sightedness glasses and moving some shapes on the screen. After that my sight was better for some time but I couldn't use computer screen or TV for the rest of the day because that stuff caused a lot of eye strain.

Also you can try becoming a sailor, some of them tend to develop far sightedness, so you'll compensate.

Supposedly glasses make your sight worse by increasing the dependence, but maybe there's some way to trigger whatever genes develop the eyes in the first place.
