Question: if someone decided to create metal microrobots whose purpose was solely to eat any soft flesh of living things they could find and multiply.....how could we fight that? They would quickly travel all over the earth killing every living thing with no way as far as I can tell to stop them

It would also be practically impossible to remotely control it - the frequencies something of this size could pick up (waay shorter than any RFs) won't penetrate shit, will require a lot of energy and have comically small transceivers (probably harder to make than any part of that microtincan)
Unless you could make those autonomous and capable of orienting themselves into large amalgamations, those are not a problem and just a good idea, otherwise we're fucked.
