You're not wrong, but there is an issue that bootlickers and government sold the vaccine under that idea, and once people obliterated it (since it's not true), they moved the goalposts to "it means when you do get it you won't feel as bad". Again it's true but something dodgy has been going on with the vaccines that people will sell one exaggerated idea to fall back on the real one, and use loads of false dilemmas to try and catch people.
