Honestly this is a clever way of teaching students. Writing an interesting story but you can only uncover it if you answer correctly.

These questions are disturbing, but if I am to be frank, they are going to prepare students for the reality that is the modern Jewnited States of Amerimutt. but what is the point? it's testing for history and maths at the same time without telling you which is which (how do you know the student knows maths or history?)
