>>14253187Well, scientists and researchers are fucking dogshit at writing. What do you expect? They get you lost in terminology gobbly gook. When they're well written, or if it's something you have knowledge of, they can be VERY entertaining.
It really comes down to audience though. Scientists write to their audience of other scientists, but when you're so specialized that there are maybe 10 people with your level of knowledge on the subject, maybe you should try to write to a slightly wider audience. I personally think two reports should be written by scientists. Something in-depth and then something that can be widely published that summarizes the big concepts and impacts of the research. Unfortunately a lot of times scientists can't even summarize or tell you what the impacts of their research is.
