I've been reading pic related and I find it quite interesting how many of the results on it could be applied to gravitational fields. What is the "Griffiths" of gravitation?

Well no shit. Einstein was pretty open about how relativity fell right out of Maxwell's equations. He was directly inspired by Maxwell (as were many of the physicists of the time).

This is not the first time this has been thought of. One of the first attempts to unite gravity with quantum mechanics was done by uniting gravity and maxwell's field equations.

It failed horribly, of course there's a possibility the math could be reworked to something usable, but I doubt it.

It failed the first time, obviously. The biggest problem is that our understanding of gravity is extremely limited, if KK does result in a unified theory, it'll have to come from some deeper mathematical theory than what we're using, gravity has some symmetry violation which we're missing.

It already has, it's called relativity. You would expect something more robust to General Relativity like what QED is to Electrodynamics. You would need a wave equation in the Einstein Field Equations which also corrects the Dirac Equation. You would need data on gravitational waves, their propagation, and whatever created them.
