casecounts and hospitalizations are at all time highs in spite of restrictions, omicron variants are milder, the most vaccinated country in the world is experiencing an explosion in casecounts, the virus only has a significant mortality rate for old people, not having people on campus is a good way to run a gigantic budget deficit, only the most sycophantic reddit dorks still want to wear masks, etc

Masks have been repeatedly been shown to be ineffective at slowing the spread of airborne viruses. Much of the justification for using masks initially was based on th false premise of droplet transmission. The science used to promote masks was utterly abysmal, putting cloth and surgical masks on the same level as n95, which is an obvious falsehood.
