I got 160 something last time I tested. I know someone who sucks at IQ test questions for some reason, he got 110 or so. BUT this guy is a better scientist than me because he’s so fucking creative. The ideas he comes up with are groundbreaking.
So, to conclude, IQ is only a measure of how good of a test taker you are. Unfortunately real world science/research doesn’t work that way.
I’ve seen tons of great test takers fail at science because they’re like soulless uncreative computers. Such folks do better being a code monkey/accountant or something.
