>>142384821. Building frameworks: it is harder to memorise 10 disparate disconnected facts but then if I gave you 1 more fact that connected those 10, it would make it a lot easier to remember. Pic related is an example of a framework I made during my study years ago which summarises about 20 different facts (the type of connective tissue of each kind of tissue) but ordered in this way it becomes logical and easy to remember.
2. Active recall and spaced repetition: doesn't matter how it's done. There is some automated software for this (anki), but in the past people did it old schoo by making one's own questions and periodically retesting oneself.
Point (1) is a lot more important for being efficient at learning and also when trying to build a deep understanding of the content. You can apply it to anything.
