Constantly change living environment and daily routine. If you can change careers and move to a different city, find a new group of friends that will also help. Learning a new language can help. I'm not sure how often you should change to ensure maximal neuroplasticity, I imagine it's somewhere between 5-8 months, but I'd be pulling that number out of my ass. Any sort of dramatic change will be beneficial in this regard.
Any sort of regular changing of habits, I'm thinking in the sub 5-month range will be useful. Even things like changing the physical layout of your furniture, changing your desktop (put the task bar and shortcuts somewhere else, start using the terminal, use a different terminal, go back to GUI etc.)
