The peak of my symptoms were yesterday. Guess what? A bit of a runny nose. What the fuck is this scam disease? I refused to get vaccinated.

Caught covid last week
My symptoms were as follows
First bad day, felt a little tired and cold
Second bad day, felt hot and cold at the same time, fever symptoms (sweated all night and woke up soaked)
Next 2 days felt tired
Next day felt better, thought I had recovered
Next day I completely lost taste (this is when I took the test, I thought it was a cold before then)
Had to stay confined 7 days, but had no other symptoms and my taste came back fully at the 5th day or so

It is not scam. I had it and for about three to four days I was coughing non stop, also lost some sense of taste, some of it changed and food didn't taste right, also for first two days felt strong smell of smoke, something burning like rubber.
It was pretty bad tbqh, I have also realised that I have had corona virus before (not covid19) mainly because of smell, I am sure I had that kind of change of smell before but I assumed it was just some weird flu.
It seems one of reasons it affects people differently could be because of previous immunity or lack of it.
as far as I know it is all speculation and the exact mechanism of why some people get more sick than others has yet been discovered.

Not true. You're immune to that variant of Covid but one of the mutations can still infect you. Some people have had Covid more than once. Just think of it as a more severe cold virus.

post tongue, I bet youre a super taster. I am, had covid, had all the exact same effects and yes, i also did somewhat recognize that taste from being sick.

Yall ever hear of miracle berry or the glycoprotein miraculin? Its this berry from africa or some shit that has a special enzyme that binds to bitter and sour receptors on the human tongue, thus making everything sweet. Many viruses include covid19 are also made out of glycoproteins, so basically the changed/lost sense of taste and smell is really you directly tasting/smelling the virus. And people with "long covid" that still dont have their sense of taste are literally still infected and producing a partial viral load.

Funny thing too if you look up supertasters and viruses, apparently our special taste buds also directly correlate to better outcomes from endemic diseases such as flu and coronavirus. So our immune system is advanced and tastes viruses to help kill them, crazy.

I got covid a year and a half ago. And it made me chronically ill.
I get sick extremely easily now. My nose is constantly clogged up, and I've had horribly brain fog for the entire time. It isn't getting better. I think it might have actually given me brain damage. I feel like I'm only truly present half the time, if that.

That is literally not true at all but pop off. The vaccines went through all the typical tests and was, in fact, shown to be effective. If I had caught delta instead It would have probably been a more minor infection and would have had a much smaller chance of saddling me with these side effects.
I'd give anything to go back to how I used to be. Trust me, you really don't fucking want this shit. I might kill myself in a year if it doesn't get better.

I had covid-19 in Dec 2020, and I think I coughed and sneezed less than 10 times. I only know I had it because I had to get a test. a month later, my test was negative. I never really felt sick

Yeah you had a mild case that means everyone gets a mild case obviously. Also Omicron is really weak compared to the previous variants.

I'm young and healthy, not even a bit overweight and for me the original Covid was the worst flu-like disease I ever had. 15 days of feeling like shit unable to do much more than lying in bed shivering in a pool of sweat at night and everything tasted and smelled rotten or burned. Slight cough but no breathing issue though.
Also I had increased hair loss for three months after recovery.

Some people I know still can't taste or smell anything more than one year and a half later. It's likely permanent for them.
Some have developed cardiac and metabolic issues a few weeks after recovery. The link isn't clear but it's a weird timing for previously healthy people.

Also I spread it to a 75 years old relative, big smoker and in bad shape and all he got was a slighty more intense than usual cough for 3 days. It's a really weird disease.

Yeah and you'd fucking think that after two years doctors and scientists would understand more than they currently do. This also lines up with my experiences and some of my acquittances. Some people are seemingly immune to the virus regardless of their age or health condition. But yeah instead of studying these people lets just sell vaccines and monoclonal antibodies for sick profit.

There are still no answers for all of the questions everyone had march 2020, fuck this dark age of for profit bought studies replication crisis world.
