That's because your equation that you are trying to prove is wrong dumbass. What is conserved is the total angular momentum which is a spatial integral of the time component

$\partial_0 \int d^3 x J^{0\mu} = 0$

He showed this, since the $\partial_i J^{i\mu}$ terms becomes a boundary terms at infinity which vanish
