I'm generally near sighted but if I stare at something far into the distance it becomes crystal clear.

It's like my eyes need to readjust itself to see far.

Is this normal?

Yes, that's normal. Your brain will need time to process the electronic signals picked up by your eyes.Your eye needs to 'adapt' to your new perspective.

Yes but adapting your vision takes time. It’s not rocket science that you can’t immediately focus if you switch your vision.

Maybe this is why im so good at autox, I can see everything in focus instantly as far as I can tell. You sure thats normal to have trouble focusing?

I don't think it's the eyes themselves. Just the muscles around them. I have to kind think quite hard to find the sweet spot where my vision becomes good again
