That "soul" which normally drives the body around like a driver in a car. The "soul" which you assume is extra terrestrial in nature since earth itself is a physical body therefore the "soul" must be an alien inhabiting the planet earth and in habiting the living bodies on planet earth.
In your assumption, the "soul" will likely either return home to its own original planet or its own galaxy or even extra-universal home or it may steal another human body for it to pilot or it may die off for unknown reasons, maybe trapped inside a human body?
