Technically they're not wrong. That's how the fallout concerning oral sex blew up in the faces of sex programs during the 90's and 00's. Too much focus on the obvious insertion/pregnation not enough on all the alternative shit that every knew kids could still perform.

There was and has been an ongoing debate concerning how to implement sex education. Safe practice vs abstinence, while both had focus on awareness neither payed enough attention alternative practices outside direct sex. Oral sex basically side step the entire stance on abstinence since it didn't leave the obvious trace of pregnancy thus parents and authorities couldn't really track sex activity of children outside gossip.

Meanwhile the safe practice stance didn't take into account the psychological aspects kids would develop when bending to peer pressure concerning oral sex. Nor practing oral sex so much that that their self-worth could be lower leading them to form relationships with people who are only interested in using their bodies rather than forging a solid emotional connection. Which opened people to more emotional abuse since oral didn't induce pregnancy and wasn't given the intellectual investment needed to understand to any act of sex is also a psychological act.

Perhaps, but the constant bemoaning I'm seeing from both men and women notating unsatisfing relationships indicates a larger issue at play. One possibly related to the issues I pointed out in question.

Just teach kids about what sex is. Not as in benis in bagina hehehe, but as in reproduction. Teach them about cells, DNA, chromosomes and the like. Anyone sane will find it disgusting. However since nobody can say that out loud without getting cancelled, and in fact including this imagery is in keeping with their preached values, they keep drawing pictures that only the deranged would ever find pleasing.
