You know I have the same thing and I am afraid there could actually be something to it. I read somewhere that the optimal way for a human to develop is that one side would be entirely dominant, ie. you use your left/right side for everything from writing, throwing to kicking etc.
So a cross-dominant person might actually be a bit damaged when it comes to cognitive abilities
