There is no "science". There is the scientific method, which almost no one follows anymore in their research. There's people who call themselves "scientists" who almost universally ignore scientific principles to secure funding and/or prove their biases. Something like 90% of modern studies are non-reproducible, badly designed, and utterly worthless.
So no, I don't fucking love science.
