because:
1) summer half of the year is approaching, meaning lighter overall conditions
2) Venus will be closer to the horizon relative to Sol when rising
3) at maximum elongation in not too long
that being said, by "last chance" I specified "for a while", it'll be visible again briefly after summer too
it'll be a full year until it's very well visible though, it's going to be conjunct with Jupiter on March 1 next year, extremely close approach, that's going to be quite spectacular
