Got an A in Diff Eq. Not even a math or physics major, in chemical engineering. Am I part of the /sci/ high iq society now?

Diff eq was honestly the easiest math class I took for my engineering degree. I don't know if it was the professor, me being more mature than when I took previous courses, or the material itself, but it really clicked for some reason.

I struggled to get Bs in all my calc classes then blew through diff eq and the random ass graduate level math classes I took (I think it was like linear or discrete algebra or something?)

diff eq made tons more sense than triple polar integrals to me, and solving problems was much more intuitive as well.

Same thing sort of happened to me. I never felt comfortable with my understanding of the material but I'd have these rainman type moments where I'd come up with answers by inspection. Freaked out the professor several times when I'd do it when we were working on problems in class.
