Why does 1 mol = 6.02214179×10^23? Like I get it how all measurements are subjective
but who decided that one mol should equal that many atoms? Why can't we have it where 1 mol equals 10^23 atoms or something like that? 10^23 would be a much easier number to do calculations with, it is easier to remember for brainlets, and it is more "aesthetic" and "crisp".
