AI that can scan for polyps, cancers, tumors, and lesions would be a very useful replacement for a mass amount of surgeries and procedures. AI that could monitor cholesterol or blood sugars wouldn't be very difficult. AI that could perform MRIs/CT to check for irregularities would also not be very hard to do. To answer your question there will likely be a diminishing workforce in the medical industry as the decades go by, until minimal staff are required. When AI that can perform accurate, 99% effective general surgeries comes to fruition, the medical industry will be conquered.
