I have no competence in whether it's even significant. It may not even be a significant thing. But for example if we saw that n-back or visualizing something or doing addition in our head produced an increase of blood flow in different amounts or different parts of the brain, it would be interesting and somewhat of a novel maker of intensity.
It's also something where something like a PDE5 inhibitor could prove nootropic value.
