If it was Observational, then it would've been: okay to work out kinks while they got the oxygen saturation levels up; okay while they worked on growing food; okay while they worked out inter-personal conflicts, etc.
Then, after they did that for a while, they could "embark" on journey's of varying lengths, say starting at 1-month, then 3-months, then 6-months, etc. In fact, that's what they SHOULD be doing with it now, instead of fuck-all with the University of Arizona.
