We just took a quiz and I got a 50% on it. The problem is that the questions on the hw and the quiz are on webassign. The questions are complicated and don't match the textbook so I don't know how to study for it.

Yeah, I've taken webassign math courses as well. My recommendation is that you use camscanner on your phone to scan your work immediately after you finish a quiz, and email it to your professor and ask for partial credit. If you keep harassing them, they'll give you partials so you leave them alone. I'm assuming your tests are proctorio bullshit and you scan the test anyways.
