>>14199266>>14199282well it´s really a specific example
and its subtlety is what got me thinking.
Let me give it;-
so i was watching Succession
And in the episode they are basically interviewing presidential candidates about whom to endorse in election, and through their powerand media prowess almost definitely wil get them into office.
They end up going with a far right/wing guy instead of leftwing centre or whatever.
So Logan, benefiting from far right wing stuff is on the controversial side of the conversation
And i was thinking about how fucking boring it would have been if they'd been pc and chosen for a leftwing character, because that is what the woke crowd would love.
I specifcally liked that he was shamelessly controversial going with a possibly objectively far less qualifiable presidential candidate.
I don't even know, but the simple difference between left and right made a tremendous difference to me in appreciating the tone of the series. Like it wasn't safe and not boring. Instead it is controversial and actually fun
