Physics PhDs are worth quite a bit. I've been searching for jobs and I see them pop up all the time worth over $100,000 a year, and that's with either no experience whatsoever up to 2 years preferred. The military is hiring people who haven't even finished yet and will not only pay for your school, but lodging as well and it STARTS at 250k if you're in a PhD program.

Either this guy graduated with a 2.0 on top of a thesis about whether plants live or die in salt water or he literally just did not look for a job.
