Isolate the bacterium in mealworms that breaks down styrofoam, then culture a bunch of it and see if you can establish it in the gut flora of other animals like springtails or something. Bonus points if you make threads to keep us updated. More bonus points if you repeat the process for other plastic degrading bacteria and make a batch of mealworms/springtails/whatever that can eat any kind of plastic.
