Psychology is closer to being an art than a science.
Results are undeniable though, and people do get better after psychological treatment, the nature of such help and growth being hard to quantify by our current obsession with watching numbers go up and down.
Most studies arent reproducible because of the very nature of the mind being still several centuries away from our understanding at least, but in the meantime to say it is completely useless is just playing the edgy autist in the internet and nothing else.
