Even so, the mere act of looking at one, if such a thing is even possible would distort its appearance, as what we would in fact be gazing at is the electron's reflection of a photon. Some say that it just a concentration of an electric field at a (probabilistic) location, such that its mere suspension in space generates gravity due to the concentration of the field intensity, so it presents itself as having mass. But this is a very Newtonian interpretation, without a shred of evidence. Then again, there is no evidence for any quantum postulate.
