How do I turn these into percentages?

You can't. There's an infinite number of curves with the same Gini coefficient. Can you find two data points? That is, the top X% had Y% of the wealth and the bottom A% had B% of the wealth? Then you can do a (very sloppy) interpolation.

First order example: if you slide the kink on this graph along the dotted line, the Gini coefficient remains the same. This shows the general gist of it, however.

Contrary to what I said above, you can draw a Lorenz curve if you have at least a single data point. How they do it in practice is interpolate between the quartiles, deciles, etc. But I'm afraid there's no way to do it (even as a crude approximation) from a *single* number.

If X% of the people have Y% of the wealth, then the Gini index is at least (Y-X)%. However, you can see that there's no way to turn this around.
